Anyone up to write a story? Each person is only allowed to say one sentence and must continue the story. Use cut and paste or quote function to keep the story together and feel free to create a new paragraph if required. Maybe keep it in italics so there is clear separation between the story and commentary.

The Adventures of Adelram.

Adelram rose early, drawing back the curtains to expose his small farm and the dark forest beyond.

Let's see where this goes and hopefully it 's not straight to being closed.

He gives a short prayer to Taal, thankfully another night without Beastmen or brigands coming for pillaging and raping

then a wolf howls and Alderam shivers a wolf that early in the morning?

    snip

It's much easier and more fun to get engrossed in lore that takes itself seriously and tries to make sense within its own frame of reference.

the reason I prefer LOTR over warhammer fantasy and 40k

Carefully Alderam obseved his farmstead through his window, wispering a prayer to his god Ulric.

Once he was confident enough, he went outside, going to inspect the cattle, to assess if some of his animals where missing.

OC: I like this idea, but I'd like if people read more carefully previous paragraphs. First he prays Taal and then his God Ulric?

I just like to read a good story :P

He readied his crossbow and moved toward the carcass moving as quietly as he could and staying low as not attract attention.

Out beyond the pastures, at the forest's edge, he felt eyes watching from the shadows.

After he blew the whistle, he instantly heared something coming from behind him, but it was bigger and louder as his dog.
