Activating MODs in TW: Medieval 2

Hi all - I bought TW: Medieval 2 in the hopes of being able to use the Fantasy MOD Third Age. I also have TW: Warhammer 1 and 2 but I am utterly disapointed in the quick battle pace there so I am looking for battles which feel more naturally paced.

The problem with TW:Medieval 2 is that it doesn't seem to be supported by STEAM Workshops, so how can you download and activate MODs ?
