Game Crash on launcher loadup

Sadly have not been able to play this wonderful game for a few months now. I have played it on this computer and know that it can handle the game and then some.

I go to start the game from the launcher and it acts like its going to load up with a black screen before the first loading screen. After a few seconds it just crashes back to the desktop with no error messages or anything.

One fix that I have done to get it to "work" is turn disable my Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 so that only my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 is enabled on my laptop. This allows the game to load but I am stuck at 1 fps so "working" is debatable. Yes I restart my laptop after doing this and it is still stuck at 1 fps.

I know that it is just this game that doesn't work from the launcher as I can load WH 1 and 3 Kingdoms just fine with optimal fps as well.

Help me CA community... you're my only hope.

Hello!

Kinda shot in the dark, but couple of years ago my friend had this same issue.
We managed to fix hes issue by changing hes windows resolution to 1280x720 and then added launch options for the game through steam "-w1280 -h720".

This manage to launch the game and afterwards he changes the resolution back to normal and removed launch options and game now worked normally.

I posted this fix wayback and it have seemed to work for couple of people.
