Destroying buildings in a besieged town & burning it

Hello everyone !

Short question, does burning down villages and towns in a siege cause morale penalties to the defender ? I remember in Atilla (I think) it caused the defenders to lose hope, does the same apply for Total war Rome 2 ?

Thanks in advance everyone and have a great day.

    What do You exactly mean?
burning down villages in battles, or on the campaign map after victory?

If You mean in battles, there is not this opportunity in RII, it was introduced in Attila as the new feature

aaa i am sorry, indeed I ment in battle, not on the campaign map :) !

alright, I already though so, but since there is an option for flame attacks (which in desriptions talk about able to burn houses in sieges) I thought maybe its in here too !

Thank you so much ! :)
