SolvedNo Black orc hero unit in recruitment pool, EVER.

Hey hey,

wanted to let you guys know, something is broken yet again ..


This time no Black Orc hero unit appearing in the pool, no matter how many turns you wait. It just won't appear or is being able to recruit which make my new Grom Campaign again not a full experience.

Hope you guys will do some more patches and more often because it seems its hard needed. :

I suspect, that you must place this in the section: WARHAMMER II SUPPORT FORUM - CAMPAIGN & BATTLE BUGS!

This section is only for the first game Total War: Warhammer.

Moderator can you please move to the right section: WARHAMMER II SUPPORT FORUM - CAMPAIGN & BATTLE BUGS?

If you have started the campaign prior to the Black Orc Big Boss, you won't get him.
Needs a fresh campaign, as it is bound to certain files - that otherwise are modified within the savegame. (ie startpos.esf)

Ye its sad was looking forward to recruiting them. Playing as Grimgor and theres just gobbos. At least I got the hags.

The campaign was indeed before the patch !

Then that must be it !

This is my latest save from Campaign started before the Black Orc update, get same message as above, I'm sure it would be easy enough to just add it. The Catchweb Spider shrine added itself, please help us, we would greatly appreciate it.

I have found in my Skarsnik campaign that I started before the Grom DLC dropped. If I build the required building in a province captured after the hero was released. I can recruit the Black Orc big boss there, but not in any province where the building already existed. I am now building the troll building to see if I can get the hag this way too.

You also got trouble with the hag ? Didn't got any trouble there though.

Started the campaign pre Grom. Waaaaaggghh! 😉 is broken too as it crashes to desktop. No hag yet, still trying though.

aahh man I am sorry to hear that.

its a little bit insane how CA is doing now ! this cant be ! you bought a DLC, and now the DLC race is broken to a point where you can not play them as a full experience.


I have decided I stop playing Warhammer 2. It was fun, but I am over it.

Honestly and truly, because of the bugs and C.A. way treating us as personals/customers.

Hi DarkLordD, please don't give up on the game! It can still be fun even with the bugs. 😉

Finished the campaign on Sunday with long campaign victory. No hag, no waaagghh either. Going to try Queek next. Will go back to Greenskins once the bugs are fixed.
