Total War - Victoria

The idea is a total war game that takes place in the victoria (or imperialist) era that spans the globe could be an ambitious but also a great idea for a game. It would feature conflicts such as the Spanish-American war, American Manifest Destiny, European Expansion, Japanese Expansion, Russian-Ottoman conflicts, Zulu War, Boer War, and other similar wars and conflicts. It would have many elements such as the expansion of Europe, the growth of new powers such as America, Japan growing and expanding into Korea, and many other elements. Considering the Victoria era has had such a profound impact on the world- it makes sense if it was made into a total war game. It should probably have a Single-player campaign and battle as well as multiplayer campaign and battle. and even the ability to have more than two players in a campaign. It may be an ambitious project but it could also be one of the best total war games, featuring mechanics from many of the other games (even melee mechanics from Natives in Africa, America, Pacific Islands, and such). Please share this idea if you like it!

I do like that idea. Having maps of other places of the world would be a nice change from painting the map of Europe all the time.

And personally I would also like to see a Total War of the Worlds DLC, were at the 100th turn H.G. Well's Martians invade.

It would be a good setting, wouldn't say it would include any of those wars specifically though, with it being a sandbox after start and all that.

But yeah be a very interesting game and they've got a lot of mechanics that would be needed for it, a lot of the diplomacy improvements from 3K would translate rather well. Thinking of the trading food and getting protection from one of the Western nations so you can expand in the local area.

Although not sure with the scale of the game there would be much of the pacific islands represented, might be island chains represented with a single province to capture.
