I noticed that in the trailer and the early footage that the soldier's movement in the early footage were quite unrealistic and don't really seems engaging the battle in realistic ways. Here's a few examples :
- Some soldiers that are getting hit by arrows from backwards sometimes they died by jumping backwards rather than forwards which doesn't really make sense with the idea of arrow's pressure and piercing effect into the back of the soldier that should be more likely to make the soldier fell forward rather than backwards
- Soldiers when engaging in combat seems don't really seems that engaging and they looks barely aware of their surrounding situation in combat, from barely hitting each others when getting close to each other rather than having some kind of charging effect to the close engagement to each others. Sometimes even they are just sliding around without moving their legs when doing some big attacks like The Minotaur unit when doing a big hit. I see better movement in Rome Total War and Medieval Total War than this.
- Cavalry charge looks kinda sloopy and seems they don't really that kind of charging effect at all, some units had been showed to only slighty being pushed around rather than being charged and fell down by the cavalry, which is a bit glitchy for me personally.
- Some soldiers are also seen to just randomly dying when being charged rather than being hit by other soldiers first or being charged up close by the enemy then died.
Overall, the game Total War SAGA Series Troy personally for me looks promising in the future if the developer could fix a few problems especially with the perfomance inside the game and the gameplay to make it more engaging and realistic for other people to play and having fun with.

Isn't it because they have health?
Are they allowed to die immediately upon impact or does health bar need to diminish first?

2 · Disagree AgreeI don't care about the animation in Warhammer TW, but I really hoped that the combat animation in 3K would be like in Shogun 2, or even better, because they are mostly similar. But 3K has good combat animation only between heroes, but it is not in Records Mode.
