Unit cards change how displayed?

Hi

Id love to get into this game but the unit cards in battles dosent work for me.

The generals take up far too much space and I cant see my units grouped in a sensible fashion.

The generals display is too loud.

Is it possible to change how the unit cards are displayed so its the same as previous total war games where it was one clean symmetric row with all unit cards the same size?

Option/pause menu>>Interface>>unit category sorting

I see the sorting but the generals unit card is still 2 rows high which is unnecessary. was looking for one clean row like former total wars.

Suppose its not possible. Shame. Game is unplayable for me with the current layout.

Its been a couple of years since I posed the question.

Darent suppose within that time an option to have a normal unit card display has arisen ?
