When I select a faction I get through the opening cutscene and a loading screen then immediately get booted back to the main menu
Hey there,
Thanks for posting, sorry to hear you're having trouble launching into a campaign!
There's a few things you can try:
Verifying game files via Epic Launcher. To do this, simply select the "..." symbol next to Total War Saga: Troy in the Library tab, and select Verify. This will then begin checking your files for any corruptions and fix them where necessary. Once complete, try launching the game again and let me know if that solves the problem.
Double check you have the latest drivers for your PC and Graphics card.
Make sure you have enough space on your PC for the game to have installed fully.
Make sure your PC meets minimum requirements to run the game.
I verified the game files and now when I get to the loading screen after choosing a faction the game just crashes. all my drivers are up to date, my pc has 1.23 TB free on the drive the game is installed on, and my pc exceeds all the minimum requirements to run the game.

Hi there,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I'll see what I can find out from our internal QA team and we'll get back to you!

Hey Dovahkiin4123!
Could I get a copy of your Dxdiag to pass along?

Hey again!
Could I get the full version of the dxdiag with the driver dates ect? Make sure you hit the Save all Information button to generate the full one!

I was unable to generate the report and had to type the whole thing out by hand so please let me know if you need clarification or something is not right

Thank you so much for doing that!
Can you update your drivers for me? There are new drivers from July (yours are dated march!) and see if that makes a difference at all!

Hey guys, I have the exact same problem, I've been loading all the menus, watching all the cutscenes. However, at the end of a new campaign loading up (the moment that load bar is full, the screen basically goes black with the cursor still available to move around. I think it might be my system, I am running the game off Intel (R) HD Graphics 630, so integrated graphics with 16gb ram. Memory is not an issue, I have 1tb SSD. Are you able to confirm if the problem is the computer or should this be able to run campaigns?
edit: I just realised this is not the Warhammer 3 thread even though that's what I searched in google...
