What is the earliest time period for a Total War game CA has considered doing??

Troy is circa 1200BC, and it is not easy to do earlier than that.

I'd say it generally depends on the region chosen. They could possibly go quite far back with the Egyptian empire as there are a number of sources, but then if you look at North America...

Egypt, Mycenae, Assyria, Hittites, Sumerian, Akadians, Babylon, Mittani as playable factions... Sea People as invaders...

To tell the truth, this is what I had expected instead of Troy.

If they made that time period, we could now have proper historical game without superheroes.
