There is no way they are going to use AoS models, so this discussion is mostly moot.

Many of the "new" ones were introduced during 8th edition or the end times. Also, deamons is the one race where it makes most sense to use the newer models, since they have the exact same units they used to, the new ones largely replace old ones that did not fit the 7th/8th edition aesthetic of the plastic deamons, and because the deamons are shared by several games and not AoS specific.

I prefer old ones for most, except bloodletters, those one look too much like Beastmen to me.

I absolutely despise new demonette, they look more like mutated punk than demons, their pose are way to static, when the old ones where gracefully dancing with blades.

I truly hope that the Lord of Change will get a remodel because the current one looks like a sad vulture.

i quite like the vulture look, way better than the chicken who fell on a blue paint bucket the other one has.

It's far too simple, like a discount version of the real deal.

It IS the real deal you heathen.

If you want AoS designs, maybe go play an AoS game.

I honestly doubt CA will drastically change the Lord of Change's design from what it is now, if at all.
I mostly hope they give them staff with the symbol of Tzeentch on it, rather than copy-paste Sarthorael's tentacle staff on all of them.

Not that I have any hate for the AoS model, far from it.

Eww, even more of that cheap counterfeit stuff!

It matters not whether it is WH40k, WH:FB or AoS, for daemons are daemons.

The only difference between the Lord of Change models is how fancy the level of "special effects" are comparatively. They're still the same thing design wise; the same cannot be said for the various renditions of other greater daemons.

The new one is much more daemonic in appearance, and his gear is fancier all-round.
