Game is sometimes freezes then crashes when playing campaign battle

When I playing campaign battle, the game is suddenly minor lag occurs then freezes. but i can move around camera and game music is playing nomally. just can't control any units and Esc button is won't work. after press alt+tab to move out to windows, the game is crash it self.

After Da nutz 'n' boltz update is released, this was happend to me 5 more times. but i have no idea what is causes these problems.

here’s my PC specs and video settings.


CPU: intel core i5 7400
Moter board: ASUS h110m-a/m.2
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB
SSD: Seagate BarraCuda ssd ZA500CM10002
RAM: Samsung DDR4 4GB(X2)

Have you the latest video driver from Nvidia?

And are you playing single player campaign or multiplayer (coop)?

Maybe you should change your "advanced options" for your video card in this game. My "advanced options" for my video card are different then yours (see picture 1).
So, changes this like mine and try this, when you play the campaign and battles.

Also, I see in the 2nd picture that your game is running in "window mode". I don't do this. The resolution for my video card is the highest resolution, what I can do with the video card (see picture 2).
So, you don't change this, because you have a better video card then mine.

I read that your pc have 8 GB of ram. If you have Windows 10, 64 bits version, then you should consider for extra 8 GB of ram (2 x 4 GB). Then you have 16 GB of ram, but I don't know if your pc have place for extra 8 GB of ram.

Sorry for the late answer. because, My 13 year aged monitor was died, when i saw your comment then start to boot my PC.
So i have to wait until to get a new one.

1. Yes my geforce experience driver is newest. It's ver 457.09 in November 2.

2. I'm usually palying single player. I never had played co-op.

3. If i change my advanced option like yours, the frame is drops below to 30~10fps, When running battle bench mark and campaing benchmark.

4. Unfortunately, my borde has only 2 slots. can't put any more in it. I guess ram capacity is the most crucial part for me, to play TWW2 for without getting any trobles.

Thank you for leave a specifical comment. It helps me to ease my anxiety. I should consider a better ram caps and cpu, when i get a PC.

Sorry for the late comment. My monitor was died, when i saw your comment then boot to test TWW2.
So i have to wait untill get a new one

If you try this in Warhammer 2, then let me know that you can playing Warhammer 2 without problems.
So, it "freezes" not anymore, when you play a battle in the Grand Campaign.
