His Model looks way too nice I hoped for a reskin of Durthu but instead we got dark grandpa.
And of course the glow color problem, with the orange glow he sticks out like a sore thumb between those bleak and pale purple glowing dryads and treekin.
Though the purple looks amazing - in lore he is corrupted for very different reasons to Drycha and her haidmaidens. So there is a good reason why they don't look similar.
I would like if they got rid of those leaves. That is the only problem I have with his model. I would love if he received some unique headpiece, but same story happened for Henri, so no surprise that Coeddil followed suit.
The final rose has faded, The eaves will sing no more; The waxen ground will keep you bound, Death-pale until the thaw. Then she placed the rest of Orion's ashes into the bowl and turned to face the Oak of Ages.
I used to go by many names here. Crazycrix, Dubinekdubajs, Yrellian and finally Ariel, one of my favourite characters in the setting. Still waiting for Finubar and Naieth!

Yeah a unique head would be nice. Hopefully there will be mods to make him more unique. Have you seen the Henri le massif mod? They made him look exactly like his TT model.

Yeah that is one of the few mods I am using. He, stone trolls and getting LLs of defeated factions. Great mods.

Honestly no. Her entire faction is purple trees, him being black and orange looks fantastic, and sets him apart from all the rest, makes him unique and very distinctive. Do you actually want him to look exactly like the purple Malevolent Ancient Treeman we already have?

Um, no, he is not.
You have said it thrice, but is exactly the opposite: Coeddil, corrupted by Morghur. Drycha, always an **** even bedfore Morghur.

I also don’t use many mods but this one is a really good one. Recruit defeated LLs is also a must have for me!
But yes I‘m optimistic that we will get a mod to make Coeddil unique very quick.
The one thing that CA could’ve done is giving him a painted portrait at least.
Father Autumn, the Terrible Cherry Blossom of Doom.
Yeah not feeling him either. More sinister colouring, that still sets him apart from the Purple Gang and really a head that isn’t as blissfully friendly looking. Then him and I are good.
Lord of the Undermountain and your friendly neighbourhood giant (Dwarf)

Why are the two corrupted?
I think Drycha was because Morgur's blood got on the wild wood and corrupted it. Coeddil is just a xenophobe that blames elves for all the bad things that happened to the forest.
Request scorched body textures, and fire death effects. At least 30% of all damage in this game comes from fire sources. Request Fire for the Fire God DLC.

Why are the two corrupted?
Coeddil from the very beginning argued against aiding the elves and allying with them, but it was during one of Morghur's attempts to raze Athel Loren, that the Corruptor was slain by Ariel while seized by Coeddil, and thus its corrupted blood spilled over him as well as the ground. The 8th edition book doesn't explicitly say that the blood of Morghur is the sole reason for his madness, but says he was "driven perhaps by a last taint of Morghur’s madness, and who had begun to harbour a deep resentment of the Elves". It's still reasonable to assume some chaos corruption had taken place, as Coeddil, as far as I'm aware, ends up pretty much aiding the chaos forces during the End Times.
Drycha is very much the same, as while most believe that she was corrupted by Morghur's death in her grove, but she was malevolent and capricious even before all that. I do recall that someone who has read the End Times books has said that Drycha actually ends up having a change of heart in the end about aiding Coeddil.

0 · Disagree AgreeHe has an "amber" glow though. Might have something to do with it.
Plus kiddies like glowing stuff, and the CA staff attends too many raves.
