Trading with the Heralds of Ariel does not give the "you've been trading for a long time" bonus

Playing as Khatep on vortex (hard/hard) and just realized that while other factiosn do give the bonus (including avelorn, seen here giving me a +2 gold for trading with them for one turn), the heralds of Ariel (which i've been trading with for around 40 turns) did not.
How to reproduce: Start a Khatep campaign, capture Tyrant Peak, get a trade agreement with the heralds of Ariel.
I own all DLCs except Warden & paun and Twisted and Twilight.
