Medieval game which might have BETTER BATTLE MECHANICS than Total War

CA shall see this!

I love that impact on charge. It's perfect for Thrones of Britannia though. I love that there is drawback upon contact.

Some units keep on fighting while the rest retreat.

Units stepping backwards if they want to disengage. It's perfect for Alexander Total War. Pikemen shall be able to do this.

Units pushing forward maintaining their cohesion.

Very nice features! Looking forward to Cavalry and Siege mechanics soon.

I have been following the project from the very beginning. I also did the first topics on reddit on visuals and the diversity of units and warriors within units. The developer is awesome.
Perhaps a real competitor for Total War is growing. I am glad that the game will be in the Medieval era. We still can't wait for a Medieval game from CA. And if we do wait, there will be something to compare with. But I hope that Manor Lords will be of high quality so that CA understands what kind of game we expect from them.

Do you know where can we suggest mechanics and features to the developer? He said that the developer is open to suggestions.

There are many places where you can make suggestions, he reads almost everything and almost all answers. There is a page in Steam, where you can add the game to what you want, and leave the suggestions in the discussion. There is also a Manor Lords fandom on Reddit. There is also a Discord, where they communicate live, and he can sometimes answer rhinestone if he is online. There is also a site that is designed to collect proposals. In general, there are many options. CA does not have such communication...

Do you know what is that site?
How I wish CA also has this type communication.

Might have...don't care until it's out and people can actually see for themselves.

The good thing is that the developer is interacting with its community while developing the game.

    It's so nice!

    @Maxim1lian thank you!

Indie companies tend to and sort of have to interact with their community to try and keep their projects going. As it gets more sales and a larger community it is likely to reduce the interaction and get moderators to support them.

I love the way Darren believes he’s some sort of TW guru. If only CA would listen to him it would be such a great game.

I'd rather have CA interact with their fans themselves. Modders should only modify the game based on some fans request rather than fix the game.

1 example is disappearing pikes in Rome 2. Fans don't need to rely on modders to make it stay. It should be in the base game.

    He said moderators, not modders.

As long as those moderators relay all the suggestions to developers, it's fine. If they only filter the suggestions, I don't think so.

In general they do filter it, same way Devs reading forums will filter stuff.

Guys, check out also CONQUERORS BLADE!

*It has immersive battlemaps. It's so nice!
*The ladders can be pushed out of wall as well.
*When units are in formation, they keep their formation in melee.

    WAR RAGE also.

It made testudo like proper testudo. If they can make it, why can't CA?

Are these 2 games the same? Did they just change the name?

Here's what you are not telling people about it:

    Free to play MMO.

Your post is close to being spam, you know?

    So what?
I'm not talking about free or not, I'm talking about quality.

No, you're advertising for a game. That's what makes your post spam.

I'm talking about features I want to be in Total War which happens to be implemented in other game. The reason I'm showing or mentioning other games is because CA might get inpiration from them. If other games can do it, why can't CA implement it in Total War?

From what I know, spamming is posting the same phrase multiple times. I don't know what you are talking about. You said spam then you said advertising. What's next?
