Does not work on Steam

Hi,
I bought Medieval II Definitive Edition Steam key and installed the game. Everything looked OK during installation and the game is in my library. But when I click on play, nothing happen. Also when I try to run it from the tab, no edition can be run. Unfortunately I have no guide what is wrong cause it does not generate any error message. It simply does not run. I've got Windows 10 Pro.

Try validating the install through steam. That's my usual go-to for when games aren't running properly. Also what resolution are you trying to play at? I don't think it supports 2k-4k.
