Generic Lords of the Empire problem

Hello everyone, how are you all holding up in times of Clan pestilences uprising ?

Anyways, I keep encountering something strange in my Dwarf (White Dwarf) campaign against the Empire.


Generic lords have there own name, but everytime it also state he is 'Balthasar Gelt' and I might even have seen a few spells of him flung with just a hunter generic lord .


Look this is what I mean :






Its a REALLY tough lord to crack for some unknown reasons. And like I stated before, I am sure I have seen some metal spells being used AS Balthasar since there was no mage on the battlefield from the Empire itself.

I forgot to mention ,

It seems that when such a lord carries his name under his own name, Belthasar gelt will be pressence at some time in the battle IF there are reinforcements.

BUT thing is .... there is NO lord as belthasar gelt that is incoming for reinforcement. THis has caused for me to fight him and kill him turns after another. While he is DEAD. But still comes in with reinforcements from the Empire on the battlefield EVEN if he is NOT present in ANY of the armies that are coming in.

Its all very weird !

It's a bug that has been happening for some time. Random empire characters will pretend to be Balthasar Gelt and use his voice lines and icon.

It can happen when you're playing as the Empire as well.

Their abilities and stats remain what they should be for the normal character, only their voice lines and name change. And always to Gelt.

I mean, we still don’t know who is behind the mask. It could be Gelt out for a hunt.

Anyway, I find it hilarious, its just as if the generals are mocking him

Nice army composition. Might actually get to do flanking and stuff with all those slayers.

If only flanking wasn't hot garbage in Warhammer.

If you want to do infantry flanking tactics, play Troy. It's actually good in that.

That's the rumour, but maybe it's an elaborate ruse so that he doesn't get recognised without it?

Hey thanks man Nice to hear you approve of my army comp. Like to make them themed a bit. Fire seems most related to slayers (the red crests)

but yea, they do well enough ! I really like this army for quick slaughtering unins. Its also an amazing army to have in defence sieges ! Never knew flametrowers could on walls. So amazing to see Siege towers of enemies make blobs and the flame thrower roast all of them !

IS Troy really that great ? I Got it when Epic Store was so genrous to give it all for free to us ( Really amazing though ) but havent really played. Question, should I ???

I LOVE rome 2 and I think it got some sort of systems back ?

or who knows, more gelts around the world .. .there is still a fine randsom on his head from a hellow from Marienburg who got scamed by the fine gentleman named Balthasar. Who knows ! Disquise to evade murder, its all genius desighs from the great mind of our beloved Gelt. (what a lord, Empire got some AMAZING Legendary lords, and that for OW lords !! Volkmar is just the coolest OW lord in game !)
