Based on the last 48 hours of teasers and leaks:
- Monogods and Kislev are the starting factions. This one is pretty much confirmed
- Kislev will have Bear Cav!
- The new campaign map will take place in the north, which includes Kislev, Norsca, and the Chaos Wastes
- Mountains of Mourn and The Darklands are not featured in the main campaign of TW:WH3
- Chaos Dwarfs are not a core race/faction
- Ogres are not a core race/faction
- Nagash Undead is not a core race/faction
- Under-developed races/factions like Cathay are not core
- Dogs of War are not a core race/faction
- Empire may be a core race/faction based on how prominent they are in the teasers

How do you get this though? Given the previous games and hints, we only need a Slab of meat or a fancy mustache at the end of the trailer to have ogres or chaos dwarfs confirmed. IMO it's too early to say what won't happen, even if we can say some things that will happen with certainty.

I don’t think empire will be a core race but I hope if the “vortex-equivalent” map goes south enough that people who own game one get an existing empire start, like franz.

A lot of people are jumping the gun, as per usual. Let's not forget that they would be ill-advised to lay all their cards on the table before the trailer. Gotta stir the hype right back up with that, afterall.

Yeah. Again, just an assumption based on how involved they are in these teasers. Certainly not a confirmation. Monogods and Kislev are pretty much confirmed.

And, as someone pointed out earlier, these assumptions will likely change once we see the trailer tomorrow.

If the artwork leak is true. Then CA rolled back to 6th Edition and it will gives us Legion of Chaos by allegiances.

My wish: DoC (with 5 factions 1 for each god and 1 undivided), Chaos dwarfs, Ogre Kingdoms and Cathay (so much potential) and pre-order kislev.

What probably will happen: DoC Divided and pre-order kislev

The teasers "confirmed" them. A semantics argument is not going to help anyone. It seems pretty obvious that TW:WH3 will start with 5 factions at least, based on these teasers and the art leak.
