    well i am not surprised by the results. i have been arguing for LOTR TW for years.

    Middle-Earth would be an awesome setting for a TW game, but the big hurdle is the rights issues. Currently LOTOR and its properties are owned between the Tolkien Estate (which is known to be difficult to work with and keep) and Warner Bros.

    I'm not saying a TW: Middle-Earth/LOTOR is impossible, but baring the rights issue, 40k and AOS would be more likely in the immediate future since CA and GW are best buddies at the moment. In all honestly, I'd want to see all three to become Total War titles in the future.
