CPU overheating

Hi everyone.
I like to play Napoleon from time to time and I end up installing and uninstalling the game once a year or so. But I always forgot that this game gives me a lot of problems with the computer components (for example it uses the seconday GPU as default) and I usually manage to fix it.
This time I cant figure out whats happening, my CPU is getting way too hot (reaching 90ºC) during campaign, and the computer is just shutting down.
My specs are:
i7 - 8750H
RAM 16 GB
Nvidia GTX 1060, 6GB
I can run 3K without problems and I've had no problems with Napoleon in the past, so I think it must be something related with the game preferences, but cant figure it out.
Any help would be great!
