What is your reaction?
What will that make next historical games?
What if it's made in new game engine?

To be frank, what is the point of dividing medieval into several parts?

    Having 2 parts is enough.
Medieval Europe in the west and Mongol Invasion in the east.

If people want really diverse factions, take note DLC. I hope DLC this time would bring new battlemaps, siege lay-outs, designs and assets aside from units.

    What do you think guys?

Only reason to have large splits would be to cover the entire Medieval period. So they can give 3 start dates in for Early, High and Late parts of it.

    That is Chapter Pack.
No need to split the map.

With the changes in tech, nations and government systems it would seem a bit too large for a chapter pack.

So how will the map and factions going to be splitted?

If that happens, I want each faction to be truly unique on their own. England battlemaps shall not be seen in other areas and so on... Each siege-layout and design shall look unique on their own only.

No soldiers shall look the same as well. Every Knights shall have different looking armours depend on their nation.

    P.S.
What is the point of splitting the map into several parts if CA only wants to implement different periods of an era?

Well yeah that would be something that you'd expect from any game covering a wide range of land. Going from the 5th Century to the 15th is quite a long time span where it looked very different from the start and the finish.

They don't have to split it in to other parts, other than maybe the new world due to it being effectively disconnected from the rest of the world for most of the period and I think we are still a bit in the dark over the history in these time periods.

If there is any sort of split it will be the crusaders and possibly Britannia games being full stand alone games not expansions
