Again that's not the engines issue, that's your issue not knowing what the engine does.

May I ask, what does engine do in your belief?

    For me...
32-bit engine to 64-bit engine is an innovation.
Animations will be more more fluid.
    Textures will be more realistic.
Graphics will be way way better.

Now, they are very modular which allows them to upgrade components over time, as they've done since Empire with the current engine.

A good example, they are already running a 64 bit engine. Graphics and textures have improved greatly since Empire.

They don't need to have to restart everything from scratch. Only need to switch to a new engine if there's something that the old one couldn't do even with modification. If you want new additions you want the old and established engine.

So CA shouldn't make new engine anymore? Should CA use the current engine forever?

Wonder if you are are aware of engine limitations as technology progresses?

They should only make it when they need it. Recent titles such as WHF and 3K show it's still fully capable of using the modern tech and has good performance with a lot of improvements.

Also worth noting very few new engines are getting made. Modular ones are the way forward as I've repeatedly said, restarting from scratch is a terrible idea. Getting a game with less features really isn't an improvement.
