I used to always focus my Chaos stuff on Slaanesh-Tzeentch alliances.
Third edition WH40k/sixth edition WHFB was my heyday, so stuff like Noise Marines and Juan Diaz Daemonettes were my jam. That was also the time of amazing Horrors, and the Thousand Sons getting some cool new models. Khorne and Nurgle always looked a bit less interesting to me. (Of course, it could also be my contrarian streak, as those two were always the more popular gods.)
When taking into account newer models, stuff like the Gaunt Summoner, KoS, Tzaangors, Hedonites (in general) are fantastic... though I do think the old Horrors and Daemonettes were better.
I do like a lot of the Khorne AoS stuff, so he's risen in my eye. The current Bloodletters, and a lot of the mortal units. Flesh Hounds especially are 3-2-1 the bomb. (Everything I guess, except the Bloodthirsters; they are a bit too stereotypically satanic, and I actually wish they had stayed more weird and doggish.)
Nurgle meanwhile has fallen into a rut, with everything being bloated and bulgy. I wish there were some followers who played up the emaciated, fly-mutation type of follower.
I've decided to give myself to Khorne, they shall be my main faction. I will crush all other chaos worshipers. I will spill the blood of the southern men. I will take the skulls of the elves and dwarfs and ogres and undead. Blood for the Blood God. Skulls for the Skull Throne.

Request scorched body textures, and fire death effects. At least 30% of all damage in this game comes from fire sources. Request Fire for the Fire God DLC.
I cannot understand how people look at Khorne as boring. Perhaps the concept does not appeal, that is fine, but 'boring' is just taking a purely superficial look at what is ultimately a god of obliteration, of death taken to its final conclusion, and the desire behind making that happen.
Just makes me sad to see it.
Khorne's suffering from Wolverine Publicity, he's constantly shoved into the limelight because writing him is so simplistic, just go "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!" and that's all you need to get right. Well, unless it's Relic's limited imagination at work and suddenly he's just some generic Satan figure because he's red, got horns and resides in a fiery place.
Khorne, I love his aesthetics and yeah he is very simple with just "blood for the blood god" but simple doesnt necesarily mean bad.
My least favourite would be Tzeentch, his warriors and demons look amazing but he is always having like 1000 plans at the same time and some of them go against the others and then he loses but oh surprise it was part of one of his plans all along so he is actually winning... IDK it just sounds like a lot of horsepoop to me.

I was tempted to vote Nurgle just for the big ol'sweetheart but to be honest, Tzeentch all the way and Slaanesh second for me. But I like all the chaos gods, even Khorne has his charm.
"Fear me mortals, for I am the Anointed, the favored Son of Chaos, the Scourge of the World. The armies of the gods rally behind me, and it is by my will and by my sword that your weakling nations shall fall."
Khorne - not really a god for people who can't afford the steroids or combat training Tzeentch - only really usefulfor mages/psykers or smart people in positions of soft power Slaanesh - can't really concentrate on excess and pleasure if you have to toil aways in a thanksless job just to make a living
All except Nurgle. Nurgle only wants you to stay as you are, and that includes stewing in your juices and never washing yourself. He even gives you daemonhood free of charge, just die of Nurgle's Rot and you can be a joyless, mirthless Plaguebearer too.
My vote was for Slaanesh. People misuderstand Slaanesh a lot because it is represented very one-dimensionally in the official art, as well as the model line. No doubt it will be the same in Warhammer 3. It's always very "face-value", with a bunch of sleek **** enthusiasts on drugs committing acts of violence.
Slaanesh is all about the pursuit of new sensations. This can be anything from aforementioned **** violence to dragging your fingers through the sand. As someone who appreciates the detail in all things, no matter how slight, this is exactly the kind of force that would capture me if it were to exist in our world (I believe chaos does exist in our world, just not to the literal extreme you see it in Warhammer).
I really hope ÇA take some inspiration from the old Liber Chaotica books, they were brilliant and really did a good job of showing some of the nuance of the gods.

I mean... In the Khorne book he talks about Astartes and the Horus Heresy so....

1 · Disagree AgreeNURGLE!
BIG UNCLE.
GRANPA
AND DADDY OF DISEASES!
Because he at least not screw you over like the rest.
Tzeentch do some random things to hurt you.
Slannesh make yourself the worse persona you can be.
And Khorne strip you all your humanity and personality.
Nurgle just give love

2 · Disagree AgreeMy Necromunda Helot Cultists follow Tzeentch, as they see knowledge as a weapon in a Marxist class struggle against their oppressors.
So I guess those are my favorites.
I love the idea of good people falling into the damnation of Chaos for the best reasons. 😁
So no Slaanesh for me. Harder to fit the mold. And no Nurgle because I don’t want my guys covered in pustules and smelling bad.
