I haven't played VC for a while and perhaps this is intended and on one of the patch notes, but it seems odd to me that it is the only spell that doesn't decrease the WoM cost with proficiency.
If I remember correctly, I think it used to decrease it by -1 and -2 for upgraded cast.
Maybe a VC veterans or patch notes expert knows something about this?
