Skaven Settlement Upgrade On Capture Nerf

Skaven can cheat around the new growth nerfs by just abandoning their starting settlement and then reoccupying it at T4 or T5 immediately. They in now way deserve to have this much leg up on all other factions in the game.

The price for T4 and T5 upgrading should exceed the food stores the player has available at the beginning.

Hi, in head-to-head multiplayer campaign it can be a big exploit but in singleplayer or coop it's not an issue at all, AI will never do such a thing and it's up to the player to "cheat" like this.

Maybe they will tweak this but i doubt it, stalk stance was much more troublesome and it took years for CA to nerf it.

If CA wants to lower the pace of the game by lowering growth values throughout, they can't allow one race to just ignore it for no reason.

This is a cheesy trick, you are not supposed to use the mechanic this way and, if you do, you are cheating.
A possible solution would be to increase the food cost per settlement level by 100%, maybe even 200% when you are colonizing a settlement you just abandoned.

Until they do something about it's up to the players to not cheese the game like this.

It was overpowered even before the growth nerf. My suggestion is that upgrading to T4 or T5 costs more food than any Skaven faction has maximum stores at the beginning, so you can't do it until some time into the campaign.
