Needs to be in base game. I'm seeing a lot of arguments saying they'll be DLC, but I dont see CA selling us 2-4 separate LPs to get all the different marked Daemon Princes.
I hope we will get unique models for each god, distinct from their greater demons or undivided demon princess. IIRC demon princes lacked these as tabletop models

I mean what else do you sell in a LP for each God as Lord. Marked Chaos Lords?

That'd be a lot of lords for the base game.
Chaos Lords, Chaos Sorcerer Lords, Heralds, Exalted Greater Daemons and Daemon Princes? Usually factions just start with two generic Lord options. I think for Chaos monogod's they will be lucky, and start with four, which is pretty major.
If that the case, the starting lord options will likely be: Chaos Lord, Chaos Sorcerer Lord, Heralds and Exalted Greater Daemon (rite or ritual like Slaan).

If we don’t get Khorne Sorcerer Lords on launch I’m gonna protest.

Thats EXTRA heretical.
But yeah, if Chaos Lords are going to be in the base game, we'd also need Chaos Sorcerer Lords for Tzeentch, Nurgle and Slaanesh.
@Revoran: Total War Warhammer is not AoS licensed. So I highly doubt AoS stuff should be a measuring stick for anything. Also once more
Then listing two Keeper of Secrets has nothing to do with Daemon Princes, since they are Greater Daemons. And Valkia who is in WHFB a mortal and even in AoS counts as mortal, is at best a wannabe Daemon Princess. https://forums.totalwar.com/discussion/274401/champions-of-chaos-valkia
I do agree that Daemon Princes makes sense at launch. First of all, because Be'lakor without Daemon Princes is a bit silly, plus they could re-use his rig for them. Secondly, it create a conundrum if they come in DLC where some monos will get their princes before others, which would create unbalance

I wouldn't want to sacrifice Heralds for them, Heralds are iconic. But then we'd also have Chaos Lords and Chaos Sorcerer Lords who'd both need to be in. Then theres the Exalted Greater Daemons too.
Its possible monogods come with 5 lord types, but it seems unlikely.

Eh, Heralds are Heroes, and they should keep being Heroes in my opinion. Especially as we get Greater Daemons as units, it'd be a little silly for a Bloodletter to boss around a Bloodthirster
Mortal Lords, I feel, will be kept for DLCs, coming along the mortal LLs !

Heralds could lead armies, after all...they're heralds of their gods! If that was weird, then Skulltaker leading an army would be weird wouldnt it?

The top one which is the muscly guy with a Daemonette on top - he is a Daemon Prince though.
