Total War Atilla game breaking bug. When I start a battle, its as if I'm spamming tab

Whenever I start a battle the menu and UI flickers extremely fast as though I am pressing tab 999999999 times a second. I've done a fresh install twice, ran in windowed mode, lowered all my setting, turned of antialiasing, everything. Nothing has worked. I haven't even seen any mention of this bug before so a fix for this would be really appreciated, so if you know how to solve it, let me know! Thank you!

    Hi, I have started to have exactly the same issue and now Attila is totally unplayable. I've uninstalled, deleted mods, changed settings, etc. All the usual things. No effect whatsoever.

    Any help much appreciated.
