Warhammer 2, Can´t load multiplayer battles with more than 8 units in roster

Hello all,

I have encountered a pretty much game-breaking bug that prevents me from loading into multiplayer battles in Total War Warhammer 2.
Whenever I try to play a multiplayer battle, I am able to load into the map instance but will get the "waiting for other players to finish loading" notification. I then wait for 300 seconds and the game ends.
What I find quite peculiar, is that whenever I join a battle with less than 8 units in my roster, everything works just fine. Even when playing a COOP Campaign with my friend I can join and play battles as long as I don't try to control more than 8 units. When I try to use more or when he gives me control over more units, the game crashes.

I have already contacted the support but after telling me to update my drivers, they told me to post my problem here. I really hope there is a solution to this because I have already seen other entries describing similar problems, being ignored by CA.
