using some graphics mods
Since I already encountered a much bigger bug after the latest patch Groms last battle beign completely broken - units not being selectable. I thought that this was also a recent bug, but after some searching turns out this is a bug that has been around for eight months.
The bug is exactly the same as it was reported back then. You get the quest for the mount. I had Ariel in my army, quest instantly completes, the next step never triggers.
