As title says Hotfix when?

    Agreed!

That said, I'll wait for a cold fix if it successfully addresses all this mess.

CA doesn't give a flying ****. It's sad because TW:W is one of my favorite games of all time. But time to face facts: CA released a DLC where people knew units were broken and they have given no indication that they are aware of the major issues currently in game. It is possible that this is the final version of TW:W2. CA basically has killed one of their greatest games at the very end in order to sell some yttihs DLC.

Warhammer branch is on vacation currently. And return of vacation is Cathay vs Tzeentch hype that will relegate this matter to the backstage.

I expect we will have to wait for september at least when summer holidays are over.

Can you even call it a "hotfix" one month later? Hotfixes are something that's supposed to solve single pressing issues as fast as possible.

We can call it a "sorry-we-****-the-game-up" fix.

yeah true but i want to know how long i need to wait to play under this horrid bug state, would have much more respect form CA if they came out and said "3 more weeks till we fix some of those bugs so the game is playable" instead of no communication for a month now.

that requires to CA actually care ,

and at this point we might actually only have like one person working on wh 2 patch or they might just given up on it and giving the future of wh 2 vedio without the vedio aka just working on wh 3

At this point hotfix is probably a misnomer but hopefully a bugfix patch comes out soon. They likely have a skeleton crew handling game 2 so I'm wasn't and am not expecting immediate results but it'd be nice for some communication from CA about this. Even if it's just a quick tweet saying they're working on it(or not). Even if they're just not doing a bugfix due to lack of resources I'd prefer they just expressed that honestly.

Just look at Three Kingdoms to see how much CA gives a **** about their game after they realize they can't make any more money on it. Execs are probably happy the game is broken because now they can say they're fixing all the bugs in W3

Punish them. I have gotten all the Warhammer games and DLC's right away after they have been announced. Not anymore. They will not get ONE DIME more ever out of me, regardless of what game it is, if they do not fix WH2.

It has been one month and not even a sign or a frikkin WORD about a patch or fix or apology or ANYTHING.
If they wanna play the silent game ok sure np. But then, vote with your wallet. DO NOT buy Troy or any other game from them (not that i would ever buy that junk but there are fools ya know...) until they fix communication first and caring for their customers second. This is a ghost forum. Nobody ever comes here from CA and even if they do, nobody gives a **** about their own product. They are paid by the hour to do what the suits from Sega tell them and profit comes first. What irony.. they wont have much profit anymore if they keep doing this.

I rarely comment on the forum section, mostly I'm a lurker here coming usually to check out the news and heated balance arguments but CA now went too far. IF they plan to do the same thing to WH2 what they did with 3K why WOULD WE EVER buy WH3?? WE know the pattern then and WH3 will just end up in a sorry buggy state after the last DLC has been milked. SO technically you will not own WH game or games you are just renting them (while they work) for extremely high prices. Nope.. thats a BIG BIG NOPE. I think we need to be more united and just find modders who are willing and make our community bug fix and be done with CA and their BS. Im gonna give them untill end of august then moving on to other games. What a shame.. Wh trilogy had the potential to be the greatest Warhammer game of all time. Shame that it always comes down to greedy bastards who **** it up. Deliberately did not preorder WH3 couse I had a hunch this whole thing would go sour.

In my heart still the best WH game is Dark Omen. Couse of shenanigans like this you have to take everything into an account. TW: Warhammer games - 9 out of 10. TW: Warhammer games Publishers and CA - 0 out of 10. Average score 4.5
    My 2C. Thanks for listening.

Seriously. What is going on? Not even an off-hand comment? Are we done with Warhammer 2 patches?

I get that they're trying to hype up Troy, but we're 2 weeks from release. Can't they squeeze in at least a brief mention?

At this point I think the warhammer 2 community needs to start agitating more to get an official response from CA because this is getting absurd.

At least Paradox for all their flaws actually announce in advance what issues they'll work on in a future patch.

I think CA keeps mum about it so they don't have to actually deliver on anything. Can't break any promises if you don't ever make any.

I am guessing under the hood it's pretty chaotic. They are caught between a rock and a hard place with little resources, impatient customers (rightfully so) and a game with so many problems that they would probably need several months to truly repair and qc everything. Time that doesn't exist....

I requested a refund for the latest DLC on steam. I doubt I'll get it but I feel completely ripped off by CA. This was the most pathetic cash grab that broke the game in numerous ways and they have made no effort to fix them in the last month.

So much sympathy for a company like CA. May I remind you guys that this could all have been PREVENTED by NOT making a new and unnecessary DLC at all.

CA if you are milking us by rolling out DLC over DLC, could you at least have the decency to use a tiny bit of that profit to hire more people?

To be fair, this fiasco was predictible and many called it. You could see the game was artificially being kept alive while the quality left long ago, balance changes making less and less sense (last patch is a joke, 90% were changes padding regarding rounding numbers and poison/frenzy changes accomodation and even those were made inconsistently and incorrectly).
That's why, many, me included didn't even bother to buy this DLC or play this patch.

I genuinely think the no return point has been crossed for this game.

I do sympathise with the employees but not as much with the management.... 😉. Some poor soul is probably responsible for salvaging this and he probably has very little resources to work with and a pile of problems to solve, and it should be finished yesterday. So yes I sympathise but I am not very optimistic unfortunately.

they hire people and make them work in unrelated projects with this profits, which is the root cause of these issues .

I do want to mention that in the past the game developers and designers did an excellent job in making a high-quality game for WH2. It's just that they kept making new bugs and OP stuff in DLCs and has been like that for quite a while. And in this patch, things are broken beyond repair (and also becoz till now, no official confirmation from CA that they are going to repair it).

If I were to point a finger, I would also say the marketing/management is the culprit of all this chaos. Ironically, I bet it was also these guys in suit making the most money out of this stupid-ass decision and basically ruins the game for everyone.

Thoughts? Don't buy WH3. Hurt their sales. Teach them a lesson. And we may need to start posting these on platforms that matters (e.g. reddit). It is clear that we have been crying here all month and they still don't give a F.

The only way to get their attention is when there are enough refund requests for the DLC and WH3, or at least negative reviews.

I honestly think this might be the final iteration of TW:W2, unless CA thinks they can sell another DLC before W3. It's a damn shame because they clearly aren't listening to the community. If they aren't listening now then I dont think they will implement domination mode or whatever they are calling it into W3 and multiplayer could basically be dead on arrival for the next game.
