need help with a mouse bug

5 to 10 minutes into a campaign and left clicking my mouse stoppes working. it will then stop and start working again over and over. i have tried switching to a different mouse, changeing form fullscreen to windowed and borderless and updating drivers
but none have been able to help me. what should i do next?

Try troubloeshooting your mouse. Did you get the same problem in other games? Did you update all drivers?

I also have this issue. And it makes this game unplayable. In random moments on campaign map and during battles suddently mouse clicking suddenly doesn't work, also it happens with WSAD keyboard. It's horrible. I tried to find out what is the issue but it seems like it's game core.

I updated drivers, restarted game, reinstalled game. Had a moment that for 20 turns everything was fine but after that it suddenly broke.

Same here. Had this problem at release, mouse click stopped working after 5- 10 minutes. Now i wanted to play again, thought maybe they fixed it. Suddenly i got problems with my keyboard. After a few minutes it just doesnt work anymore. Haven't played long enough too see if mouse bug still occurs, its just unplayable. I dont have this problem with any other game...

Has anyone been able to fix this issue? I've also tried looking for an answer and there is no answer anywhere, how bad, this bug of the mouse and I have the completely frozen screen but still you can hear the background that it works but the screen is frozen. By the way, please stop saying about updating mouse drivers and stuff, literally these problems ONLY happen with Total War Remastered...

I found something that seem to work for now , at least. Set your pc date on random day/ random month / but year 2014 , obviously is a manual date , deactivate automatic date to avoid problems and then play the game , is a pain to change over and over for using internet and so on but it seem the only solution for now
