Did any of you notice that Cathay lost in the trailer? In first scene we have Miao Ying observing burning Bastion gate city and Cathay soldiers retreating behind Her shoulders, than we go back for one day. it is worth to notice because it may us show how start of campaign for this two fraction may be. It is possible for Kairos Fateweaver to start at one of Great Bastion gate city and Miao Ying regrouping a few province further in Cathay to retake, lost city. There is also a option for a minor Tzeentch faction to occupy this gate city when Kairos was called back in to realm of chaos because of... reasons.

The battle was definitely in favor of tzeentch.

0 · 11Disagree Agree>Tzeentch forces launch a surprise attack through portals above the Great Bastion
>The cathayan troops are overwhelmed and the wall is broken (likely to let their own ground troops through or future invasions)
>They overwhelm the unprepared forces forcing them to flee to nan gau while Zhao Ming protects the fleeing peasants
>During the day Nan Gau prepares for war soldiers gather, peasants prepare their weapons, female engineers prepare their war machines while a war lantern pilot says her final goodbyes to her alchemist sister
>As night comes Tzeentch forces begin their attack on Nan Gau starting with another massive aerial armywhile Cathayan's intercept with a formation of war lanterns guarded by longma riders
>Despite being outnumbered and surrounded, the Cathayan formation holds strong until Kairos arrives and shoots down half the formation in a single blast.
>On the ground a horde of mixed chaos troops charge into a prepared Cathayan Defense led by an alchemist
>The Tzeenetch troops attempt to skirmish on approach by flinging magic, but are quickly cut down in mass by massive volleys of rockets, and the ones that get through are met with Terracotta sentinels, elite troops, and a magic user. Cathay's formations once again prove stalwart.
>Kairos decides he needs to turn the balance of the land battle flies down and nukes the entire central flanks front line with a single spell
>Zhao Ming who has been watching the battle from above, realizes that if they are to have any hope of winning this battle she would need to defeat Kairos or he would destroy the whole force himself. So she drops down in order to try to fight him personally,
So whoever one that fight would have likely been able to take the battle. The Cathayans were actually doing good against the general tzneetch army. But they couldn't handle the massive magic attacks of Kairos breaking their lines.
Some gameplay stuff to take away for this:
-Tzeentch units have a massive air force and big boom spell, but their melee kind of sucks
-Cathay formations are really strong, but vulnerable to getting torn apart by magic

0 · Disagree AgreeIf the Mark of Tzeentch gives Ward Save 5% or Ward Save 10%, their front line mortals may be tankier than you would expect even if they can't dish out as great damage as say Khorne ones.

You're the one pushing some stupid idea that has been shot down by multiple people. Time to pull your head out of the gutter. People can have amicable relationships without it being about sex. I can't go anywhere online these days without someone pushing some over sexualized fantasy on normal human interactions.

You're the only one blabbing creepily about sex and fantasies and whatnot. This is nonsense.

0 · Disagree AgreeIn campaign my assumption is that Karios' main army will start off within the chaos wastes or realm and your first real goal is to build up your strength to launch a full scale invasion of Cathey from the north. Perhaps needing to defeat or unify the other minor Tzeench factions to be their main representative first (will probably be similar for the other Chaos factions as well). While the Northern Provinces faction is mostly required unite as much of the area around the bastion and there will be some kind of invasion event once you reach a certain point.

0 · Disagree AgreeNPC factions could be really interesting if many of them played by slightly different rules. These could be factions that spring up in the Empire, Kislev, and Cathay under certain circumstances.
Dark Elves and High Elves could have the same thing with Slaneesh cults (rogue ones in the case of Dark Elves), Nurgle cults in appropriate human lands etc.
I just don't want to see Chaos dwarves proper in Hobgoblin lands, full on Daemon hordes placed all over the map right in the center of human nations, and NPC factions in general being the same exact thing without context. Even if it's small like no Slann or Ancient Kroxigors in the Dragon Isles and things like that

4 · Disagree 4AgreeI think that's the point originally trying to be made here. They wouldn't be wives or anything romantic.
The way you did heavy quotations on 'sister' seemed to suggest otherwise.

0 · Disagree AgreeAnyways, back to the main point, yes, the trailer shows two people showing a clear display of affection, with the dread of war approaching. You can read it as sisters, close friends or lovers. I choose to read it as lovers because it's badass and tragic and interesting and refreshing. On that subject, there's already same-sex relationships in this very trilogy, it's explictly mentioned that Felicion had a relation with a Norscan chieftess in the Druchii campaign. So it's nothing new or brazen.
