Anyways, back to the main point, yes, the trailer shows two people showing a clear display of affection, with the dread of war approaching. You can read it as sisters, close friends or lovers. I choose to read it as lovers because it's badass and tragic and interesting and refreshing. On that subject, there's already same-sex relationships in this very trilogy, it's explictly mentioned that Felicion had a relation with a Norscan chieftess in the Druchii campaign. So it's nothing new or brazen.
I don't think I or anyone else are saying that you can't choose to headcannon things as you like. Or even that same sex relationships don't exist in Warhammer.
Just that nothing marketed to China is not going to show it because they're extremely heavy on censorship of anything they don't deem acceptable.
I wouldn't say you're maintaining a 'ruse' myself, just being a touch idealistic and naive about China's policies at the absolute worst.

Th chinese government didn't make the trailer though. They can say "they arte not lesbian", and even ban saying it, or cut that part from the trailer. But the chinese government can't decide that the nature of the relationship in the trailer. Only CA can make a statement on what the "canon" is for it. And unless they do, any interpretation is equally valid. The chinese government is certainly among the last people I would have dictating my thoughts.
Also, as said above, there is a lesbian couple in game 2. Which is sold in China. I don't know whether it's censored or changed in the chinese version, but that doesn't really matter. CA clearly makes LGBT+ characters in the total war warhammer series, despite the chinese government.

I know that you're gay, and I have no problem with it. You've stated or hinted that elsewhere on the forums. I have a problem with people sexualizing normal human relationships. I hate the waifu/husbando crap. I hate people asking for "prettier" in game models for women characters. I hate people objectifying men and women characters in a video game/media in general. I hate "shipping" characters. I hate sexualized artwork. I hate how so much has to be about sex, and certain people, like yourself, have to inject it into everyone's face. I come to these boards specifically because it just isn't as prevalent here compared to a place like Reddit.
Let me lay it out because you've been choosing to misrepresent what I've been saying and attacking me constantly because of your deviant, unwholesome fetish (assigning sexual relationships to normal human interaction). It was refreshing to have a trailer where two women had a normal, true to life, non sexual interaction before going into battle. I have two little girls at home. One is very new to life. I show them affection. I have a brother and two sisters. I show them affection. I work in healthcare and have held the hands of dying people or people under great duress. The last thing I need is for someone to sexualize my interactions with my family members, friends, or acquaintances. It all starts in your head, and degeneracy isn't a harmless thing. 99+% of humans interacting with each other is non sexual. Not everything has to be about your weird, made up sense of reality.

It looked like Tzeentch forces were penetrating pretty aggressively, but what's her face came in to turn the tide and it was left intentionally undecided.
I don't think it means anything more than to showcase a chaos incursion into Cathay facing off against the forces of dragon lady.
I don't think there's really much more to read into it personally.
