Where's Star Wars?

Why haven't game producers come up with the idea to do a Staw Wars total war game? I honestly think this has been a long overdue idea and with the hopes of Disney, I bet this could get done? Would anyone else preorder it, because I sure would?

Ea games had exclusive rights to star wars games. Their license ends this or next year. So, maybe your wish might become reality from that point onward.

Reminder that there are history guys that still seethe because CA made Warhammer and later Troy because they believe it's selling out the original company vison, but both games and settings are rather tame when you compare them to even larger, crazier, settings like 40k, star wars, or star trek. If you think the shift created because of warhammer fantasy was too great. You're going to love what these scifi settings are going to do.....and the people it's going to bring in.

40k/starwars fans are nothing like warhammer fantasy fans. Ask anyone. Both of those settings are kind of cursed for various reasons. Instead Lets stop with the scifi for a minute and start with the baby steps we know CA can semi do.

Something that doesn't depart completely from the traditional CA model. Giving everyone at minimum an assault-like gun will change the game too much IMO. It's not the same kind of warfare that was in empire, warhammer, shogun, or any kind of game so far. CA needs more time before they can start such settings.

the movies are bad but we've gotten some pretty good tv shows and video games.

The third trilogy is a complete heresy that deserves to be removed from history. That said there are some decent stuff like the Mandalorian, the **** Fett serie looks promising and now that EA no longer has the exclusive rights for Star Wars video games I'm sure we'll get some good ones, Jedi Fallen Order was surprisingly good for an EA game though.

I never gave much of a **** about Star Wars and after the prequels and the absolute snooze fest that was movie 2 of the reboot I couldn’t give less of a **** if I tried

Actually there is a game that is kinda a SW TW: Empire at War.

Now with EA losing the exklusive rights and Disney not giving exclusive rights to anyone anymore, CA could in theory do a SW TW game. Not sure if the cost of the licence makes it worth while thou-

Or if CA doesn't want to make other TW's first that "lay the ground work" for it.

As absolute rubbish as the new movies are, they aren’t worse than the prequel films, so “from a certain point of view” George Lucas murdered Star Wars and Disney is just being consistent.
