I am receiving this issue now as well.

I had not had any issues until a few weeks ago. Now my friend and I are unable to connect to our multiplayer lobby. We have both tried connecting to each other's lobby. We have tried through the host link and we have tried through the friends list as well. We are getting the same unspecified error.

I purchased my game through steam on my PC. I did not have this issue until very recently.

Apparently SEGA Support, who deal with cross-platform and account issues, has a fix but it has to be done on an individual basis. See the post above yours.

Sent a ticket and hopefully they can assist in a timely fashion as this seems really odd and out of place.

So what happened here? Was it the windows update? The fact I pre-purchased DLC and the game thinks I did something wrong? Or did somebody hit a button that just ripped product licensing from "X" users?

Was playing just fine yesterday and those are only changes I could see causing something like this randomly, but I've also been wrong before.

Edit: So I am being told to go through Sega support here and Sega support just states it's because I am blocking epic services (which I am running this on steam) so what is going on here and why is Sega acting as if it is my fault/problem. Which people do I need to talk to get this fixed?

Edit 2: Not sure who/what/when it was resolved, but after stepping away and coming back and checking on the game it seems to work now. What is up with the epic stuff though?

I'd guess that, in order to enable cross-platform multiplayer, the CA Account has to enable some kind of link between your game and the other platforms to make them think that you are on the same platform and this seems to be a little flakey.
