Allegiance costs, not sure if bug

Doing a co-op campaign with my friend and I noticed the cost of buying his units with allegiance kept going up all game, to the point that I couldn't really afford to get a significant number of his units. Meanwhile, he said that my units were very reasonably priced, I think he said a Lord of Change was 20ish allegiance vs my 97 for a Bloodthirster. I am not sure if this is a bug or if there is some variable that changes the cost of these units.

Yeh, I'm experiencing the same thing. My issue also with a khorn ally. my ally's bloodthirster now costs 127 allegiance points. Given there's a hard cap of 100 allegiance this definitely seems like an issue.
