Nurgle - Campaign / Legendary Lord Proposal

So here is my brief proposal:

Imagine a Cathayan Legendary Lord obsessed with Alchemy. His constant alchemical experimentation in search of immortality eventually led him down a dark path, the path of Nurgle.

He becomes so far corrupted in his obsession with plagues that he starts to wonder...

What are the must powerful beings in the universe? What kind of plagues could kill them?

The most powerful beings in his universe, for him, are of course the Chaos Gods. Plagues are such an obsession for him at this point that he just wants to make the strongest one ever, enough to destroy all the Chaos Gods.

He could have some kind of campaign mechanics like the following:

- Spawns somewhere in the Chaos Zones to the North, between Cathay and Kislev.
- Plague buffs when applied to other Chaos factions. Basically a Chaos Legendary Lord that specialises in anti-Chaos destruction.
- He could have some kind of alchemical balance thing, like how Cathayan's have to bring Yin and Yang into Harmony. His should be focused on bringing about the ultimately balanced plague, balancing both its Virility and Lethality. If he brings this into Harmony he gets buffs to his plagues etc.
- During his alchemical experimentation he developed great resistances to plagues, so he just looks like a normal or slightly corrupted man (of course in cool Cathayan/Chaos hybrid armour). His humility before the greatest of plagues means that he does not want to shine before Nurgle in plague-ridden form. He does not care about Grandfather Nurgles attention, only the success of the plague.
- He could be a caster that ultimately gets a flying mount, with death or other Nurgle types of magic. Of course should have a cool sword.

To me this makes sense. Chaos has never been about destroying order, it is simply about becoming so extreme and obsessed down a certain path that you want to destroy everything in its cause - even other Chaos members of your own faction, or of different Chaos factions.

Could make such a cool and ironic campaign storyline and ending out of this too. By wanting to develop the ultimate plague, and succeeding, he destroys the Chaos Gods and restores Order to the Universe.

Whaddaya think?

I am thinking this kind of aesthetic.

Nurgle has a lot of existing mortals but he could be a neat addition, I like the idea of pursuing balance between the new life the plague becomes against the death the plague creates.

I could even see people mistaking him for a plague doctor and seeking him out for treatment, where he keeps them alive but also ends up keeping them sick to study the illnesses, a state which, however inadvertently, feeds Nurgle, thus bringing him favor and ever more power for his work.

    I like this.

The balance theme is a good one and... the thematic thing of people going to him thinking he is like a Chinese medicine specialist - but that acupuncture is actually infecting them - that is insane haha.

Except that is what Festus does already.

Yeah no, Nurgle isn't lacking characters, they don't need any OC one's.

Yeah, Nurgle is the chaos god least in need of help finding characters to the game. He has such a wealth of characters that it is very likely some well-established characters may very well be left out entirely.
What is normal for the spider is Chaos for the fly.

Yeah, Nurgle can get up to 8 without too much digging.

    - Ku'gath
    - Epidemius
    - Festus
    - Glottkin
    - Gutrot Spume
    - Tamurkhan
    - Valnir the Reaper
    - Feytor the Tainted

The only God that may need help is Slaanesh, even tho I have been able to find 8 LL for it as well.
