Is there any plan to add 16:10 resolutions? It's hard to enjoy the game without a borderless window option.
My monitor is 32:9 (5120x1440) and I also have to run in exclusive fullscreen which is disappointing.
If I change to windowed fullscreen the cursor tip doesn't match where the click is detected (it registers the click somewhere in the bottom half of the cursor on screen, not at the tip), and whatever I have the UI scaling set to it will still display parts of the UI off screen.
If I set it to exclusive fullscreen it works fine! The UI matches the screen edges perfectly without any distortion, the cursor tip is where the click is detected and cutscenes are correctly scaled.
The resolutions we have are in the minority though and will understandably be low on the priority list I expect.
It's already a massive improvement in Total War: Warhammer 3 - Total War: Warhammer 2 still distorts game objects near the screen edge at 32:9 ratio today...

"Troll comment, this won't happen, and the DRM isn't the problem. "
Hahaha this is clearly troll comment. There is a lot of evidence in the web as to how Denuvo influences this particular title. Continue to conjure reality, troll or make an effort and check yourself.
My biggest issue is the supply line bug. That has halted or crippled all of my campaigns. I don't actually want to play again until that is fixed.
I agree with this. I read about this bug during the day today and when I got home and booted up the game, I exited out right after because I hit max supporters on Kislev and realized that all the orthodoxy armies I just picked up had permanently messed up my unit upkeep.
The bug is annoying but if it helps, you can get the supply lines down again by getting your unused lords killed, rather than disbanded.
If you don't need the additional lords recruit them again (you can identify the culprits because lords you already recruited once don't have new recruitment costs, just upkeep), the supply lines will show more armies but there will be no new additional supply lines cost precisely because of the bug they never actually went down. Now just get the lord killed and viola they supply lines go down again.
If they are immortal lords however that obviously won't work.

There is, as you say, plenty of evidence as to how Denuvo influences this particular title- it doesn't influence it. The Content Creator build had Denuvo activated, and CA have said that they tried deactivating and it doesn't help. Now they could be lying about the 2nd part but that would take the whole Denuvo thing from weird to outright self-sabotage.

Quite a few content creators have spotted the issues with FPS drops and is appears mainly tied to particle effects. Specifically in battles, the water falls and the steam from bogs. Something isn't correct with that implementation.
It looks like a culling and overdraw issue where graphical settings are not changing or impacting those visuals at all.
I think it's more likely a graphical hiccup regarding visual effects and fog/particles.
CA won't remove the DRM, never will. Anybody hoping for that is nothing more than a troll or pirate. WH2 has DRM, and it runs just fine. Correlation is not causation. Just because DRM is in the game, does not mean it's the responsible culprit. Proof needs to be provided that DRM is the issue, of which nobody has given specific proof other than their feels.
I really want the ogre characters to get some unique abilities. Skrag to spawn 2 to 3 units of gorgers and some buffs and at least one unique spell of the Lore of Maw which only he can access. Greasus the ability to pay enemies off. And both of them to be some stronger and less squishy.
The faction in overall are awesome. But the characters are just lacking behind.

I mean this is just a better/more detailed/less flippant version of my point so not sure why you're replying to me in particular? But yes, that sounds more reasonable and agreed with the things that weren't news to me!

I just hit the quote thing. It was more directed at the other individual, not necessarily you, but looks like part of the quote is under the expand an arrow thing.

I have never hated any campaign mechanics as much as I hate the new rifts and race for souls. I am unhappy with my purchase and massive sharp drop in player numbers also shows many people are in the same boat as me. (More than %50 drop now)
There are fundamental flaws in the game; 1- Sieges somehow being more boring than older ones with over powered defenses and stupid AI, 2- Winds of magic change is quite bad and equally surprising that all greater demon spells use winds of magic, they really should have been bound magics, 3- Lord Skill, defeat traits and traits in general are weaker than of game 2 and much more boring, 4- Extremely small rosters for demons that would need multiple lord packs to fix, 5- No blood in a game with blood lakes, 6- Very questionable UI changes,
Hell, I think this game might get 3K treatment at this rate, not extremely exited for the future of the game.
It's nice that there is progress being made, but it's pretty disappointing that it takes the people who bought the game operating as a massive QA team in order to get the game working properly. I'm willing to bet CA tested WH3 with the DRM active in-house, was fully aware of the issues, and released it anyway. The alternative is they didn't bother testing it, which would reflect even worse on them.
summury : crap performance will still be here for months/years
I am running it on a 3400G (32Gb) watching iptv on the same time and I have not crap performance. They made amazing work on optimisation for end-turn speed. The only times where I have performance issues is when loading a battle map (it slows down at 90% and, when its occurs, iptv has sometime some minor freeze due to heavy cpu load ) and that is not a problem of optimisation from CA.

So you are playing with unit size medium? Great in a Total War game ...

Nope... Ultra but graphical low setting. And if I want higher graphical setting, I can always run my second computer (4700k with my Rx 470).

VERY WELL SAID!
I could not agree more. The game so far has been a HUGE disappointment for me and I dont think it will be fixed anytime soon if it is fixed at all. They made a serious gamble and investment in these sieges battles and they are MORE boring and tedious than in WH 2. UI sux, Campaign map lost lots of details and is a performance hog, Very VERY small rosters on deamons and Main campaign that is just horrible. No ammount of patches of fixes can fix all that. I am even doubtful that modders can do much at this point.
Well thats it.. the last good WH game was WH2 mortal empires... and will play that till the end of time I guess.

Why do you guys do this? Okay, let's assume Denuvo was never the issue and barely impact performance.
Why are you still defending a blatantly anti-consumer practice? Do you work for Denuvo?
Request scorched body textures, and fire death effects. At least 30% of all damage in this game comes from fire sources. Request Fire for the Fire God DLC.
I have just tried the hotfix and now the game is not working on 12900K processor with 3080Ti. Game is doing like micro pauses in the benchmark and in going game... i think this is called stuttering.
Now I cannot play the game... someone has this issue?
I have noticed that it is recognising mi SO as window 10 pro instead of windows 11 pro.
Unless you guys have a miracle patch lined up, the game will be dead within a few months. Technology and skill trees make no sense. Sieges are tedious. Factions are massively imbalanced. Maps and pathfinding are broken. Typos and weird grammar everywhere.
You outsourced parts of the development, didn't you?
