New to the Series

Hello I'm interested in adding more Total War games to my library, and I'm not sure what to add and was wondering if the community here could help with suggestions. I've been playing Total war: Warhammer I-II and enjoyed them both greatly but I want to move from fantasy and have something more real like Shogun, Britannia, Rome, or Medieval but I'm still new to this series and hope people could help in what of all them that came out are worth adding.

A nice simple start for historic is Shogun 2, it's not complex or overly big but does offer decent gameplay. Something like Napolean is similar.

If you want something more grand then Empire or Rome 2 could be an option. Personally I like 3K due to the polished gameplay, diplomacy and how the game is balanced throughout.

They all often go on sale, especially the older ones so worth keeping an eye out.
