Known IssueDirect Damage Spells Are Affected By Physical Resistance

I have done some testing on direct damage spells as I was modifying the Damage Amount values im special_ability_phases_tables on RPFM. While testing this I have come to the conclusion in the title.

I've edited this post and have since done this testing after verifying my game files and removing all mods.


The Fate of Bjuna
No resistances: 3605 - 100%

20% physical resist: 2940 - 81.5%

25% magic resist: 2945 - 81.6%

25% magic / 20% physical: 1980 - 54.9%

As you can see the units with physical resistance took noticeably less damage than the units without physical resistance making it clear that spell damage for at least direct damage spells is affected by physical resistance. I haven't done testing on any other spell types.
