Don't forget about warhammer 2 players!!

I'm a huge fan of every total war game and since I played the warhammer saga i enjoyed it a lot. Recently i convinced two of my friends to download the 2. Wish I could play with them in a multiplayer campaing that would resoult in a much more fun gameplay. Hope CA implement a more complete multiplayer also for the ones who can't afford warhammer 3.

I always wanted for all Warhammer games to launch from the same .exe To receive the same updates, and be cross compatible in MP.

It never made sense to me why they need to release a whole another game, completely abandoning the original, only to port all old content into the new game anyway. Why not make Vortex and Realm of Chaos maps a big DLC you could buy for WH1, complete will all new races.

But this isn't how CA decided to do things, sadly. WH2 will never be updated again, play WH2 with your friends if you want MP, there haven't been any major reworks yet, so IE and ME are quite similar anyway.

Yeah but maybe a new update to the multiplayer would be apropriated even to the “older” game since the big numbers that WH3 has brought to the total war saga

Sorry but the W2 multiplayer scene is basically gonna be dead at this point if I had to guess. There was already almost no one playing and now that all the factions finally got added in I bet it's gonna be basically no one.

I was considering going back to it than they removed chat. I mostly played 2v2-3v3-4v4 in player made lobbies it’s actually my biggest gripe with dominion is less about a direct dislike but that it’s mode that’s entirely balanced for 1v1 for the most part.

And my problem with 1v1 is there’s always an optimal meta. I played ladder briefly semi seriously in the game 2 I reached 250 on the leaderboards but it’s a grind not because of difficulty but because there’s a meta and that’s gonna exist in any 1v1 competitive mode.

Meanwhile if I just want to try different units then that may be suboptimal the best place to do that is in less serious mode with a bunch of like minded people.

This is where I think CA dropped the ball so they not only split the multiplayer base they also just made it less friendly towards casual multiplayer that’s fing stupid.

I just want to enjoy multiplayer with a group of buddies like I used to.
