How to vassal as chaos?

Is it the same as greenskins? Or can you only force a vassal on their last settlement, because im pretty sure you can only vassalize a norsica/chaos tribe faction if you get fight them at their last settlement correct?

I you take a Dark Fortress you auto valise norscan Tribe it belongs to.
most other factions you can valise by subjugating them by taking their last settlement.
The exception is if they're already a vassal to someone else.

Tried vassalize Sisters of Twilight in my Valkia legend campaign. (Last settlement, already sacked a few times previously, not armies left). It did not allow me for some reason.

Had to move on, since they were allies with all the high elf and khatep+mazdamundi coalition and 10 stacks were chasing me closely.

I really wanted a wood elf vassal, ¿was it because they had several military alliance?

I assume there are some restrictions on who you can and can't vassalise. For WoC I know they can do it to each other by taking the opposing factions last settlement as well as for Norscan's. But they probably aren't allowed to do it to most other races though. Might be that there is an exception made for Azazel but I haven't really played him yet so I don't know.

Yeah i think you only can subjugate human, iorc and scaven faction.
