Current dwarf state and problems

It is just a sad, neglected state all around:

Grudges
We now have maxed out grudges for 50+ turns. Grudges increasing their age rating every 5 turns, turns even on of the starting severity 10 grudges into one worth 100 points by turn 50, which fills the grudge meter all on its own.
We also have Zhufbar labelled as vampires.

Growth
Basically non-existant.
Many provinces dropped from 4 settlements to 3, or from 3 to 2.
And if you try to build growth everywhere, you are still behind and have to neglect either income, or unit buildings, which just sucks.
The control problems caused by the permanently maxed grudges make it even worse.

Buildings
Dwarfs are somehow the only(?) race left, that actually needs 2 buildings for a unit. Why?

With their non-existant tier 5 buildings, they even feel like an unfinished F2P race.
2 whole building upgrades, that only give recruitment ranks to your heroes and no units or anything.
What is even the point of a dwarf player to pay that 20k gold for a tier 5 settlement building and then shill out another ~15k for those 2 useless buildings?

You really start to feel the lack of elite/expensive units here.

Runes
With the changes to supply lines, you run more armies than in WH2, but you can only really equip 1 army with runes due to limits:
- each rune can still only be build 1 time
- you can't equip multiple of the same banner runes

Just remove those limits.

Smithy
Still filled to 90% with useless junk.
Why do the white and green items even exist, when they are actively worse than dropped items?
Your starting Lord already has his unique items and the heroes/second army can be equipped with loot, so you never even use them anyway.
From rares upwards they are fine.

Lords
Still the only race without basic upkeep reductions and recruitment rank increases in their blue lines.
Still waiting for actually usefull lords. Right now all of their mediocre strenght comes from the runes they can equip.
Thorek is the only exception here.

Units
No access to magic dmg, other than Lords and 1 RoR.
Jade Warriors dumpster Dwarf Warriors without any Harmony effects and surivive with 50% hp left.
That is probably enough to state how bad dwarfs currently are.

Maps
This is more a general complaint, but why are there only 2-3 siege maps per race?????
You get so fricking tired of fighting on the same map over and over again.

For the dwarfs you don't even see any of their supposedly grand Karaks and instead get junkyards, that the dwarfs couldn't even be bothered to properly maintain.

All in all the current state of the dwarfs definitly isn't "beta", it is alpa at best.

I have one more thing to add, the dwarfs suffer a lot from the post battle loot penalty leftover from WH 1(along with Empire, Bretonnia and Vampire but to a lesser extent). While this is thematic with the limited races at the beginning of WH1, this is now a severe handicap in the more faster pace campaign of WH3.

Empire and Vampire Counts still have multi-building dependency. Think Lizardmen do for Sacred Kroxigors as well. IIRC it was removed from the Dwarfs when they got a micro-rework in WH2?

    Also lords and units:
Why Torgrim starting army filled with junk? First, he is the worst dwarven lord, generc thane or melee lord much better than he in melee. Second, hammerers should be replaced with grudge thrower or thunderers, gyrobomber - this type of gyro just waste of income like hammerers. Main weapon deal ~0 damage to infantry or monsters, bombs good only against gobbos with approximate damage ~10k, i really dont understand why this unit exists in the game.

Also dwarven speed in new settlement sieges sooooo painfull, i preffer now rangers for every army instead of any type of unit in entire dwarven roster because they all are useless now. In WH2 we have much more strategies in building armies than in WH3 just because almost all battles now are sieges and this hurts dwarves so much, more than any other race in the game.

I agree with basically everything above into it for sure but I'd also like to add some weird nuances that I noticed or would like to see:

    1) Karak Angazhar added back to the Black Mountains and removed from being a Border Princes settlement - doesn't make any sense.

    2) As mirrored above the dwarf holds need to be put back up to some of their higher settlement numbers of before.

    3) A boost in their unit roster - their upkeep is substantial but any opposing factions like hyper aggressive wood elves absolutely destroy them with their basic archers (despite most of the early dwarf roster having high armour and being shielded), also it seems that the quarrelers melee capabilities have taken a dive and building any of the two handed ones basically don't do anything even again tier one garbage like spearmen or goblin spears.

    4) This one is more of a wish: Any of the Orc holds that look like dwarf settlements or capital settlements but with the face of Gork/Mork on the exterior should when captured by the dawi change back to being actual dawi settlements and not continue to be orc ones when doing battles etc.

    5) Another wish: If Belegar Ironhammer manages to take Karak Eight Peaks it should become his factions capital and not remain Zarakzil.

I would actually wish, some of zerkovichs dwarf-ideas would find it into the game and lore, with some nice and elite mechanical construct units, like tanks, motorized artillery and chariots or golems. These could fit for those high-Tier buildings and would give more fexibility to the dwarfs.
