Can't retreat from battle or city siege.

When attacking, defending or doing antything regarding actions with army against enemy army (siege, attack, defend etc.) I can't retreat due to the button being greyed out. It's the same for cities, if I besiege them, it's not possible to break a siege for me. It's currently happening in IE MP campaign with 2 players.
