Game crashes after battle

So my settlement is attacked by a rebel army. It shows my army strength but for the rebel army it says "0" . I fight the battle and i win. I click the "end battle" button and the load screen pops up and loads about half way and then it closes the game and kicks me back to the desktop. I've checked my firewall/anti virus, done the local files thing, and every other solution i could find. Nothing has worked. Anyone have a similar issue?
