Crashes in Multiplayer Campaign

Just quickly wondering if anyone else has had the same issues as us. A group of 4 friends playing multiplayer campaigns, we cannot get past turn 1 without either 1 or multiple peoples games just closing out of the blue. We have tried every host configuration possible as well as trying with just 2 of us, 3 of us etc but nothing works. Ever since the latest update multiplayer IE has been unplayable and we just wanted to know if this is a known problem or are all four of our computers somehow to blame? Graphics drivers all updated, all recent hardware. We tried everything and have given up.
