    According to my observation, console games normally have an advantage comparing to pc-exclusive.

    Anyway I don't care much about these awards. I just enjoy games I enjoy.

    Honestly good. One game got released in a really bad state with dlc nowhere near ready for half a year while the other got released in a great polished state with Dlc announced right away.

    If TWW3 got released next year they’ve could’ve rolled out a much better project than this that deserved the GotY title. But as is, best they don’t get rewarded for a rushed buggy unoptimized product for the sake of future titles.

    Can anyone really say WH3 deserved an award? It's more of the same from the past games, offers little in terms of new gameplay, fails to fix existing problems and introduces new ones.

    Total War has become the COD or Madden of strategy games. Just churn out the same product with a higher number on the cover and demand money.

    Best Sim and Best Strategy should not be lumped together. This lead to the silly situation of Victoria 3 vs Two Point Campus.

    Not that I actually respect this whole giant advertisement dressed up as an awards show.

    Was anyone else expecting a different outcome? The Game Awards are a popularity contest first and foremost, Mario + Rabbids is a collaboration between Nintendo and Ubisoft using some of their most iconic IPs (Mario and Rabbids), it was obvious from the first moment that they revealed the nominees that it would go to Mario + Rabbids.

    Not to mention it's a popularity contest where you actually need fans to get out and do something. I didn't bother, but one thing about the rabbids group. They are rabbid and they do like to turn out for online things and ze memes. Slather on a lil mario and I bet a chunk of people voted for that without ever having actually played the game.

    yeah no, the state WH3 launched in and where it currently is in its life cycle isn't award worthy. Sorry any CA staffers reading this, maybe it's not your fault but it sure is your company/publishers'
    Request scorched body textures, and fire death effects. At least 30% of all damage in this game comes from fire sources. Request Fire for the Fire God DLC.
