hello and greetings if a Total War Age of Sigmar happened it would be interested in my opinion for Age of Sigmar do have some interested models/factions I like, like The Orruk Warclans Kruleboyz models/faction and if Total War Age of Sigmar is going to happen it will be the first faction i going to play.
I'll actually say I'd love to see an Age of Sigmar game eventually. I think the setting is pretty cool and I'd love to play as the Idoneth or Karadron. That being said, compared to WFB or 40k, the setting is still super young. I feel that Age of Sigmar needs a few more years of development before being adapted. Otherwise I feel like we'd end up missing out on some of the big new developments in the setting compared to the somewhat definitive way we've seen the fantasy setting represented. Part of that is inherent to the fact of it being an active setting versus one that is kinda dead, but still. I feel that a future Age of Sigmar game (series?) would actually benefit from waiting until after CA gives 40k a go. The extra gestation would let the game shine with a more fleshed out setting and more factions.

Some factions can easily fit the Total War formula. While others would need to be souped into one another.
The setting still needs some more years of development, there are Races that have 1 or 2 named characters and others that are still missing a lot of stuff.

AoS isn't bad, could really work quite well, but atm I don't think there are enough characters that the community would want in the same way that people want characters from the Old World, so not now but maybe in the future.
Age of Sigmar could make for a fun Total War game. It'd be different by necessity...
One of the biggest things is that Age of Sigmar doesn't really have a unified world map. They've kept it intentionally vague, like 40K, so that there's a dozen or so important areas with maps and canonincal cities and ongoing flash-points and then there are vast swathes of terrain only alluded to that they can pull out whenever they want. There's both more freedom to make up a map of some place entirely new, but less to actually bind attention or attachment to wherever you end up fighting.
The other big thing is faction size. Age of Sigmar has tons of factions, more than Fantasy, but most of them have fairly small rosters. There's more of a focus on small armies with dynamic commanders and characters with special abilities, as well as system for fielding units from other allied factions.
I think it could work... but I also think the game kind of lends itself more to a game like Warcraft III or Dawn of War than Total War.
Ehhhh, factions could be fine and all. But yeah the setting doesn't seem to lend itself as well to 4x Strategy games as well as fantasy. But I love a bunch of the models, and wouldn't mind seeing them repurposed for fantasy/Total War Warhammer 3.
I would be more interested in 40k,not big fan of AoS...
I don't think 40k's method of modern warfare fits the TW formula very well.
Of course, I don't think AoS's small warband skirmish warfare fits the TW formula very well either. But I assume that huge regimented battles still HAPPEN in the AoS universe. AoS just doesn't have you playing them.

Personally I like Age of Sigmar as a setting. Though I also treat it as its own unique thing in my headcanon, due to how drasticly different character interpretations and universal laws are. Plus the game is actually fun and its unique factions (not the WFB leftovers) mostly get creative and insteresting designs.
As for a TWW game it could happen. However a key problem is how swallow the armies mostly are. Some barley have a rudamentery rooster for a TWW style game, others only 3-5 units (excluding weapon variants) and none or 1-2 named characters.
Sure background lore has more characters and units for most factions, but its often a few lines of text in many cases.
In short if a TWW style game comes for AoS it needs strong expansions for roughly half of its factions. I trust CA to do that, but much of it would be unique or brandnew additions as AoS doesn't has decades of lore and editions and spin offs to draw upon. Though if the game would expand these lacklustre factions with new additions it could be a good TW game. And that CA can do this we have seen with TWW.
On the other side AoS would truly benefit of a popular videogame alá Vermintide, Dawn of War or else. Which I would currently prefer before a TWW game.
Currently AoS is all about rebuilding civilization by setting out crusades/colonizing expeditions. As I like city builders I would love an Anno/Strongold style game. Where each realm has unique challenges, you can choose whether you want primarly a dwarf/elf/human city, and defend against attacks etc.pp. But that is my specific taste.
I would honestly be kind of disappointed in CA if they had to make a AoS TW game, instead of just adding more to Warhammer 3, but I could see GW try to convince them of doing that.
But I also kind of doubt that they'll do anything like that, as I do think that CA should make another big historical TW, hopefully and Empire 2 or TW: Antiquity.

Well in theory they wouldn't make TW AoS now, but further along in the future, when AoS has more units and stuff.
So having a few games maybe even another fantasy game (LotR, Mythology...) before picking AoS
