Battle Freezing but camera can still move, gamebreaking issue on Immortal Empires Campaign

My battle just started randomly freezing (as in all animations stopped, music stopped, no interaction could be made, ESC did not work either). I could still move the camera around, zoom in, look around. This is not an FPS or stuttering issue as my FPS were well above 100. The game froze and only closing it from ALT-TAB could be done. I bought the game yesterday and I already have a literaly gamebreaking bug...
