There's a lore youtuber called vaatividya, he does such a good job compiling the lore and presenting it in an interesting way with complimentary visuals. I understand when people say they don't like the Souls series, i didn't like it at first either and quit shortly after the Asylum. But I'm glad I forced myself to give it another try because they really did impact me in a way few other games have. I'd unironically call them art.
And don't worry about spoilers, I found that watching the lore videos first gave greater context to what i was doing while playing the game and only heightened my enjoyment of it.
We hope you enjoyed last week’s anniversary celebrations! We certainly loved seeing the excitement surrounding both the release and the Immortal Empires launch trailer! This celebration was a long time in the making, and the positivity in the comments and reactions made it an incredible moment for the game and team…all capped off, of course, with the hype of seeing all the new and returning Total War players jumping into and enjoying Immortal Empires for the first time! Thanks for making this an awesome moment!
In case you missed it, we’re hosting numerous game giveaways over on our official Discord server in addition to the ongoing PC giveaway from our friends at Intel! If you haven’t already, join us on the Discord server, check out the event on Twitter, and get involved before everything wraps up in the next week-and-a-half!
Come mid-March, we’ll finally be ready to share more about the next official DLC coming to WARHAMMER III. You may have heard it mentioned by Rich Aldridge in a recent message to the community or even caught a hint of a cameo at the end of the Immortal Empires launch trailer (it was an understandably short appearance, so we understand if you missed it...). We’re not only excited to finally talk about what we’ve been working on after what feels like an eternity, but we’ve been working hard on improvements to previous features in the game—such as the line of sight of ranged units on walls and within settlements—which we hope to have in your hands when Update 3.0 drops this April.
All of that in mind, we know that many of you are eager to hear about the future plans for Total War: WARHAMMER III: what the Summer and Winter updates look like and any/all the stuff coming in between. Throughout March, we’ll be working to finalize and polish up those plans with the aim of sharing them shortly after the April release.
That’s it for now! I hope this provides a brief look into where we’re at and what’s coming in the next few weeks. In the meantime, come join the celebration over on our official channels and we’ll be back with more soon.

Is this just a really roundabout way to simply say "whoops, the road map is delayed again"?
CA "I want to tell you something but won't tell you what it is until sometime in the future, but wanted to let you know, so you know we have something to say... At some point in the future."
